Hot Wheels 2010

• Mazda Furai - Hot Wheels della settimana

  Questa settimana è il momento della Mazda Furai. Il modellino riproduce una concept car giapponese progettata nel 2007 e presentata al Salone dell'Automobile di Detroit nel 2008. Questa Hot Wheels fa parte della prima edizione del 2010 (disegnata da Jun Imai), caratterizzata da una verniciatura metalflake grigio argento nella scocca metallica superiore.

  

  

  La base inferiore (che include anche le forme plastiche dell'abitacolo) è in plastica nera e si innesta nel posteriore con l'alettone anch'esso in plastica nera ma flessibile per resistere agli urti durante il gioco. Il tettuccio e l'abitacolo è formato da una parte in plastica trasparente. Le ruote sono le OH5 (a cinque razze bucate) con serigrafia cromata. Sulla scocca presenta delle bande serigrafate in argento con inserti rossi e il numero 55 in nero; loghi Hot Wheels serigrafati in rosso adiacenti alle ruote anteriori.

  

  

  

  Interessante è il nome "Furai" che in giapponese significa "suono del vento" e riprende il linguaggio di design "Nagare". Sviluppato da Mazda con Franz von Holzhausen e Laurens van den Acker, si ispira al movimento naturale, come vento e acqua, per creare linee fluide e dinamiche. Questo linguaggio visivo innovativo riflette l’interazione tra movimento e forma, influenzando superfici e design automobilistico.

• Mazda Furai - Hot Wheels of the week

  This week it is time for the Mazda Furai. The model reproduces a Japanese concept car designed in 2007 and presented at the Detroit Motor Show in 2008. This Hot Wheels model is part of the first 2010 edition (designed by Jun Imai), featuring a silver-grey metalflake paint finish on the upper metal body.

  

  

  The lower base (which also includes the plastic shapes of the cockpit) is made of black plastic and engages in the rear with the aileron, also made of black plastic but flexible to withstand impact during play. The roof and cockpit is formed by a transparent plastic part. The wheels are OH5 (five-spoke perforated) with chrome serigraphy. The body has screen-printed silver bands with red inserts and the number 55 in black; Hot Wheels logos screen-printed in red adjacent to the front wheels.

  

  

  

  Interesting is the name ‘Furai’, which means ‘sound of the wind’ in Japanese and echoes the ‘Nagare’ design language. Developed by Mazda with Franz von Holzhausen and Laurens van den Acker, it is inspired by natural movement, such as wind and water, to create fluid and dynamic lines. This innovative visual language reflects the interaction between movement and form, influencing surfaces and automotive design.

• Tooligan - Hot Wheels della settimana

  Questa settimana arriva Tooligan! Già il nome dice tanto sulla forma del veicolo. Infatti si tratta di una crasi tra la parola tool (utensili in inglese) e la parola hooligans (tifosi di calcio estremisti inglesi), tant'è che praticamente ogni parte dell'auto riporta alla forma di un utensile in modo estremo.

  

  

  I parafanghi e i lati della carrozzeria riprendono la forma delle chiavi inglesi; l'alettone posteriore ha la forma di una chiave inglese da 3/8". Il corpo centrale e il parabrezza assomigliano a una pinza che si va a innestare all'alettone anteriore formato da un righello. Infine i motori sono formati da 2 gigantesti cacciaviti Phillips. Per quanto riguarda i materiali che la compongo, troviamo una base (scocca inferiore) in metallo (con la presenza centrale di un foro esagonale da 1/4"); carrozzeria superiore in plastica cromata oro con innestata una parte in plastica rossa trasparente, che delinea parte dei 2 motori cacciavite.

  

  

  Poi la parte rossa definisce anche l'abitacolo con una serigrafia in nero ubicata sull'ipotetico tettuccio (impugnatura della pinza). Sui lati in corrispondenza dei portelli la scritta Tooligan (Yearling Bold) serigrafata in bianco con scivolamento in basso a destra e logo Hot Wheels in nero. Le ruote sono delle OH5 (bucate a 5 razze) con serigrafia cromata rossa.

  

  

  Disegnata nel 2009 da Wayne Scott, questa versione fa parte della prima edizione (2010) caratterizzata da una serigrafia a 2 colori (rosso e nero) sull'alettone anteriore che rappresenta la scala graduata del righello, eliminata nelle edizioni successive.

• Tooligan - Hot Wheels of the week

  This week comes Tooligan! The name already says a lot about the shape of the vehicle. In fact, it is a cross between the word tool and the word hooligans (English extremist football fans), so much so that practically every part of the car is shaped like a tool in an extreme way.

  

  

  The wings and sides of the body take the shape of spanners; the rear wing is shaped like a 3/8’ spanner. The centre body and windscreen resemble a pliers that engage with the front wing formed by a ruler. Finally, the motors are formed by two giant Phillips screwdrivers. As for the materials composing it, we find a base (lower body) in metal (with the central presence of a 1/4’ hexagonal hole); upper body in gold chrome-plated plastic with a transparent red plastic part inserted, outlining part of the two screwdriver motors.

  

  

  Then the red part also defines the cockpit with a black screen-printing located on the hypothetical roof (pliers grip). On the sides at the hatches the Tooligan (Yearling Bold) lettering screen-printed in white with a slide to the bottom right and the Hot Wheels logo in black. The wheels are OH5 (5-spoke) with red chrome screen printing.

  

  

  Designed in 2009 by Wayne Scott, this version is part of the first edition (2010) featuring a 2-colour (red and black) silkscreen on the front wing representing the ruler scale, which was removed in later editions.
